The Three Laws of Corporate Survival

(with apologies to the late, great Isaac Asimov...)

1. Do not injure your company, or, through inaction, allow your company to come to harm.
2. You must obey any orders given to you by your manager, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. You must protect your own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law. 

At least with this scenario, one can always leave the company if the internal contradictions become too great.
